The sides discussed Cote D’Ivoire’s developmental requirements in the area of housing, economic empowerment, infrastructure, social perspective, education, tourism, and health. They also focused on access to finance for the private sector and on building the capacity of the investment promotion institutions, as well as private sector organizations.

ARCEIT-UNIDO briefed the delegation and private sector representatives on an Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Programme, which received very positive feedback. At the request of Minister Dosso, it was agreed that a needs assessment mission will be sent to Cote D’Ivoire to look at developing an investment promotion programme for the country and identifying financing schemes for technical assistance, infrastructure projects and small and medium businesses.
